January 5th Excitement
We were excited to have students back in the building today, and we did have a little excitement this morning. A science demonstration triggered the classroom smoke sensor, and our fire alarms were activated. So, our students and staff braved the cold for roughly ten minutes until the fire department responded and cleared us to occupy the building again.
I laughed when one student asked me, upon entering the building, why I would schedule a fire drill on a day like today. I promised him that that was not the case at all. J
